But how much you can rely on natural growth? How many crops you can get un-interrupted in a given 10 year period?

natural growth can be done effectively.  But underlying problem is population no body are addressing it. they want to instead provide genetically modified food and kill everybody in long term. long term side effects will be there with GMO.
