only the girl was married as far as I know. Not a fan of long distance relationships too.

I think it's not about showing compassion or empathy in these cases. Konni cases chusina deggari vaalalo. Naakuda naalugu tanni bokkalu viragottali ane antha kopam ochindi. But atla chesthe em laabam? We had to settle down for a more practical solution.
