Awareness post: Indians working for $15 in SAP. Noor 25 minutes ago Hi Kumar. Wish I had found your videos before I came to USA for masters. I returned back to India after my masters because I was not able to get a job (In my field) . But fortunately I didn't take any loan because my parents paid the fees out of pocket and I still regret that decision. I struggled in India for few years then moved to Malaysia. You should make some videos on Indians coming here for MASTERS IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING/ PHARMACY/ (or anything other than IT) and end up doing SAP jobs through consultancies at $15 to $20 in New Jersey (Edison to be specific). I totally understand what you say its really painful to see students going in anxiety disorders because of the loans they take in India.

OPT has no minimum wage requirement, the way H1B LCAs require. So, we have desi vendors, WITCH, who are happy to take whoever works for the cheap.  Lots of OPTs are desperate to have any IT job that gives them experience.  Match made in heaven.

masters vallaki separate ga oka minimum wage untada?

 

I think democrats wanted minimum wage increased to $15 or so per hour.

 

In reality, I think its $7.5 or something.

LCA wage is that wage only no? min wage for your qualification and position ? 

Yeah min wage for jobs 7.5$ undi in some states. This differs by state .

As far as i know min wage based on degree undi and thats 15$ per for a person who did masters.  Odd jobs ki ichina pay cant give for a MS candidate.I worked in dining in my MS appudu kuda it was 7.5$ per hour. Ade MS graudate ki ivvadaniki ledu for corporate job even as a fresher.
