go for otter box case its expensive but it will be for life long.

Apple Leather Smart Case (full body cover) is the BEST. It is built for function and keeps the iPad's slim profile intact without adding much heft. Go for BLACK as lighter colors will get discolored over time. Plus, Black looks stealth! I used this case on my old Air 2 for 5 years now with absolutely no issues and the build feels like a tank (my Lulu cat claimed it to play mouse games and she would not let me touch it ). I use Tech Armor Ballistic Glass screen protector and it can defend a cat attack (claws and fangs).
