A California judge blocked a Trump policy restricting asylum seekers at the US-Mexico border the same day another judge declined to intervene. "Under our laws, the right to determine whether a particular group of applicants is categorically barred from eligibility for asylum is conferred on Congress," the judge said Wednesday evening.
