You will get 15 points on your profile if you have a sibling or a parent, cousins don't count and friends ni ela choopisthav relatives kinda. That's fraud and if caught you might be barred permanently from applying to Canada. 

Best option is to do well in IELTS, which is totally within your control. If you are younger than 30, that helps getting some additional points too. Also, test of French edo untundi that might add a few points if you know French.

Single people vs married people yes there's a difference there obviously. I applied when I was single, for applying as a married couple there are some other factors that need to be taken into consideration.
