We are fortunate that he is still alive and almost retired from a very successful career - unlike Bruce Lee.

Personality and disposition go a long way - Jet Li is a Shaolin Champion but (even with all the trick photography in his movies) he is not as successful and loved as Jackie Chan who was just a stuntman. Jackie’s movies are family-friendly and humorous (except for The Foreigner in which his daughter dies in the beginning and mostly sad - it was a wrong movie for his comic style and a couple of old movies which were not meant for kids).

Kung Fu movies are my favorites. High octane, hardcore and raw action like that without dupes in his movies (even fake action in Mission Impossible, Top Gun, etc) is too much masculinity to digest for the millennials 🙂

PS: By the way, the two boy cats I had in the past - I named them Simba and Jackie (because he was too active and restless)
