Maldives is one one over expensive place...in my view, an over priced destination. Max 2 days kante ekuva vunte bore kodtadi...

hotels cost takuve vuntayi kani additional charges will be two times more than hotel rate....like food,water, to and fro from airport to hotel...

Water villas are good option, but usually expensive vuntayi...if you are a good swimmer and you can do scuba diving and all such activities, water villas could be fun but selfie digadanike aithe edaina okate..

ya 2-3 days trip bro.. bali podham anukunte 1 week+ undalsi osthundi so eesariki maldives fix ayyam

spend money and take water villas. they are very rare in the world and mostly available in Maldives and Tahiti only.  spend only 2-3 days but spend on all inclusive water villas.  They are worth it.

 

there are options like 1 day in water villa followed by 1-2 days in beach villas. they are cheaper and you get to experience both. but i think you should go for all inclusive as its very costly to but individual meals and drinks. 

 

they dont give premium brands of liquor. so be careful what u drink.

Good choice ...budget batti hotels chudu...try agoda.com...I think I spent over 3k for 3 nights Including flights from vja...Well worth it ...ekkada domestic spots kantey way better

Mem dec lo poyam, water villa lo unnam for 4 days, couple ki 5 k USD pedithe water villa, to/fro tickets from hyd, food and activities, to and airport to resort/sea plane , anni aipoyay.

budget unte, i suggest water villa, tidal waves nite time choosi pack aindi maku, but super untai, chala rare places lo untai water villas.

Maldives is one of the best destination that I visited....couples ki awesome place....definitely expensive but not over priced, because ah price ki experience alane untadi mari.

Male is capital city and bigger island and which has airport....from there you need to travel to your resort via ferry/boat or sea plane (usually your resort will arrange this - some resorts charge additional money and some resorts it is included). Basically Maldives is a group of small islands (few hundred's of islands).....and each of these islands are owned and maintained by a resort companies (so each island lo only ah resort okkate untadi - island ante Hawaii island antha peddavi kaavu...few acres of land untadi anthe).....Water villa's are definitely expensive, but again experience is amazzzzing...look at those pics and decide yourself...each water villa has jacuzzi in backyard and steps directly leading to crystal clear waters....and island chuttu oka barrier laaga construct chestharu so the max height of the water is till your hips...few spots lo koncham ekkuva height untai...otherwise anyone can just get down and enjoy that water. All inclusive theesukunte best....un=limited food and drinks, lots of water activites, just enjoy with your wife/gf...mobile elagu panicheyyadhu so double happies....nobody will disturb you guys. Just sit by the beach or your villa backyard or get down into the water and just chill, relax, be lazy and re-charge your battery over weekend. 

I spent around 3.5K including roundtrip flight from hyd + resort (2nights water villa and 2 nights beach villa - I regret by not staying all 4 days in water villa).

cheap ante bhayya, Male city lo regular hotels untai......but thats not true Maldives experience....naaku thelisi world motham lo best water villa (or only water villa's) available are in Maldives and Tahiti / Bora Bora....but All these islands are expensive (Bora Bora mari daarunam)....regular hotels lo untatam waste...you need to book a resort which has water villas.......ah island lo mee resort guests thappa inka evaru undaru...so very private and couple hundred guests (not including staff) untaru anthe.

Ade cheap ani nuvvu Male or paina youtube lo vaadu unna budget hotel aithe, you dont have to fly all the way to Maldives, you can get that experience in any beach side destinations (Goa enough).......so save money and book water villa's only when you think you have saved enough.
