India accepted to help kashmir only if they accepted to accede and to which the king accepted with some conditions... however I think that deal is temporary. Temporary or not, but because of these special rules a lot of hindus (pandits) were killed and driven out of the kashmir valley and these numbers to close to 300 - 500k people back in the 90s... these pandits and their kids still cant go back because of lack of proper law and order in kashmir... they all lost their homes. There are also a lot of muslims there that want kashmir to integrate with India but the media wont highlight them over the stone pelters.... look up in twitter you will find many kashmiri muslims who are happy about this move..... they all hate to be referred as stone pelters because of some political parties there and pak funded organisations Quote

What bad has happened to Hyd? Didnt it flourish under the new country India? Same way Kashmir will also flourish and will do good ani anukuntunna... just because of few stone pelters being hit by rubber bullets or just because few wealthy muslim families dont get to play their game anymore doesnt mean India will crush kashmir or its people... its plain stupid to think that as we are one of the most accepting/diverse nations in the world when it comes to religion.
