And because we lost some of our culture, it is not valuable to anyone (not even to us) to learn our ancient stuff - they are of NO use. So many languages in India was another chaos. Countries like China, Japan, Korea, etc "preserved" their culture and languages (for the foreseeable future) but that resulted in very severe language barriers for them while dealing and communicating or doing business with the rest of the world. And because they preserved their cultures and not going to learn the global English language, their languages are valuable for others to learn them to do business with those niches.. Had we preserved our culture like those countries, it would have made sense to learn Sanskrit so we could communicate and transact business in Sanskrit and also become valuable to other countries. But now, there is no use for it because it has no value. Preparing for the future instead of living in ancient times is ideal.
