H1 & H4 stamping question

Hi - Is there a rule that both H1b and H4 should go for stamping together if both are in India ? I am on H4 and planning to go for stamping few days before my husband as his slot is already booked. 

If there is no such rule, will the visa officer question why we did not come together for stamping ?

or they dont care as long as I carry my husbands H1b copy ?

what happens if my H4 stamping is successful and husband's h1b might be delayed due to 221g ? Can i come back to US while his visa is under Admin processing ? He got 221g last time so we are expecting again. At that time I was on H1 so, did not have any problem during travel.

no you cant go ,

1) Both should go together

2) or H1 spouse should be in US with valid 797

3)or  If h1 spouse in india ,he should have H1B visa stamped in his passport before you attend.

Are you sure ? How will they know if husband is in india or us? I will be taking husbands valid i797

I dnt think there is any such rule ! As long as your husband has a valid 797 approved petition you shud be able to go for stamping ! My wife got h4 last year in india but i didnt got for stamping at all as i didnt travel to india then

Thanks for the reply. In your case you did not travel to India kadha..In my case both are travelling to India..akkade confusion undi.

you raised a new doubt...not sure now !! e year kuda my wife would be going ahead of me for h4 next week and my slot is one month after that .I guess ill be in the same boat as you !
