these r the questions framed out by my friends ... and after talking to the babys father murali garu... we got the answers as well

Q1. How is pratiba doing and wats her current condition?
A) She is staying at house and the doctors shall start treatment only after receiving Rs. 21,50,000
Q2. At wat stage is the disease right now?
A) Treatment should be started as early as possible
Q3. Is there a permanent cure, if not what is the probability of cure with Liver transplantation?
A) Liver has enlarged and only liver transplantation has to be done to save her
Q4. If cured, will Pratiba enjoy proper health for the rest of her life or should she undergo medication through out her life?
A) This is a permanent cure if the liver sets properly and she will have to take medication for some time, about an year or so
Q5. Did they seek government's help at all?
Q6. How abt CM relief fund?

A) 5) & 6) yeah they are approaching govt. with help of MLA and with their white card..they will be eligible for Rs. 25,000  and if they have MP letter with white card...then they will get Rs.50,000

Q7. What support did u get till now including inward remittances and how much is still needed?
A)  Till now it cost around Rs. 3,30,000 and he has raised that money by selling a house and land in his village. They require Rs. 21,50,000 for the treatment and they have Rs. 5,00,000
Q8. Did the doctor promise to transplant a liver which suits her properly? Is liver readily available?
A) Parents will be the donors of liver & This disease is not covered under arogyasree.....liver surgeries are covered but not transplants


this is the info v gathered over phone,

we came to know about this case  through VANITHA channel, i spoke to the one who took the video of the baby girl prathibha and telecasted, he said he will upload the video and give us the link, so that it will be even trust worthy


and as we pooled more than $10k,  we will be sending all the amount on the name of Vanitha channel, thanking [color=red] GREATANDHRA, GULTE and AFDB

lot of effort is being done but i think there is still risk and need to get the funds sooner than later and also need support from biggies like tv9, sachin, charity orgs etc.

hoping the best n expecting the worst .. after reading such comments

no bigges supported so far.. but v cud reach.. half way.. lets see hw it goes after the bigges pitch in  sCh_elmodance2

when you transfer the funds, make sure it appears in TV9 sothat it can reach locals there. Locals there can make a big difference. 1 rupee each by 10lakh people if message reaches to the mass.

sorry i dnt kno any1 in tv9

this vanitha channel guy dnt respond to my frnds call.. he picked it n when my frnd said the name of the baby prathiba.. he disconnected it last tym.. but now even hes wondering how he pikd my call.. n i kno its tuf job.. but .. am positive.. cos of db mates

eenaadu paperloo ainaa vachettu choodandi maama ilaa ikkada nundi funds transfer avutunnattu and need more ani. if needed paid ad koodaa ok. it may cost about 20000 to get the ad published

what I'm saying is we got to take it to next level where money would not become a bottleneck
