Review

Story

Ram(Ram Charan Teja) a Great Worrier Fall in love with the Princesses (Kajal). Their ove was Opposed by Raja MaanSingh(Sri Hari) Ram fights for his Love and dies foe his Love . All these happens in 17th Century.Again The Pair will have their re-birth in 21th century along with Maansingh.The rest of the story is all about how the Pair united Did Maansingh Opposed their love Again.

Artists Performance

Ram Charan Teja: This is Ramcharans’s first performance oriented film and he is simply amazing in two roles. There are many shots in the film where the scenes from the present time will dissolve into to flashback and vice versa. These scenes  done on Ramcharan are crucial in the film. eH has  shown the variations between the old Ram and new Ram. He did exceptionally well with subtle yet impact creating performance.

Dances:His dance movements are fluid and effortless. The way he moves his body to seemingly unbelievable dance movement in Bangarukodipetta song is amazing.

Kajal: She is very cute and beautiful in this film.This is also Kajal’s first performance oriented film and she is simply amazing in two roles.

Others: Srihari looks deadly in the role of Singh. His performance is excellent. All other artists are appropriately cast in their roles.

Technical departments

Story - screenplay - direction: The basic premise of the film is Historic Plot. The director added different threads that go in parallel with the main thread. Direction of the film is adequate. He introduced and established all characters well. The screenplay should have been better. Here are the following observations on Magadheera

The interesting points:

1) Chiru's introduction in Bangaru Kodi petta

2) Ram Charan Challenges maanSingh

3) Flashback episode Fight

The Odd Points:

1) Hero remembering his Past Birth should have been told in a better way

2) Comedy lacks through out the Movie

Art and special effects: These two departments deserve a special mention. The Rajmahal set is glittering like gold and we have never seen films  in such a visual splendor. The graphics work is extraordinary.

Other departments: Cinematography by Senthil Kumar is top-rate. He used the right lighting for all scenes and the camerawork suited the mood of the film. Music by MM Keeravani is another asset. All the songs are good. From the picturization point of view Bangaru kodi Petta and Panchadara Chilaka are Excellent.Dialogues are adequate.Fights are good. Production values by Geeta Arts are probably the best ever in Telugu film industry so far. Each frame is visually appealing.

Analysis: Second half of the film is entertaining. The First half should have been better. The plus points of the film are Ramcharan, sets, cinematography and music. On the flip side, the screenplay of the film is not gripping through out the film.Magadheera is a different film for the mass director Rajamouli. It takes time to sink into the regular moviegoers to know the real verdict
