USCIS director Ken Cuccinelli, reworks Statue of Liberty poem in defense of new immigration rule

During an interview on NPR, Ken Cuccinelli said "Give me your tired and your poor who can stand on their own two feet and who will not become a public charge." On Monday, Cuccinelli, the acting director of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, announced an immigration change that will deny green cards for immigrants on public benefits.
