Why Telugu population is growing and more in Dallas/Texas compared to other places in USA?

I have never been to Texas before, but heard lots of stories about dallaspuram , how desis are everywhere there and whites consider them as minorities in certain areas of Dallas/Houston. Is there any reason why much of Telugu population is inTexas compared to other states?? What are the perks of being there??

i came to dallaspuram because SFO was expensive.

dallas lo no statetax

rents are lesser

traffic is better than sfo

desi community is strong, parents or in laws vasthey then will  have lots of friends to do timepass

Depends on how much they expose. There are bigger markets than Dallas like Jersy or Bay Area. It's favorable location in terms of weather, cost of living and telugu people maybe more inclined to move Dallas compared to other city given a choice.

cost is the major factor. hard to buy home esp for single income in SF..So many are moving and settling down in Tx

depends on income and home $. In CA its comparatively easy to get jobs after 3-5 yrs of exp unlike in other states...
