he defintely has issues with a  brown skin being a manager. he was waiting to attack u and looks like this was the only thing he found to attack. But it fell flat on his face.

Vaadiki company lo time mooduthundi as now everyone knows he intentionally did it.

U did the right thing by not accepting his apology as he really didnt mean it but was just to save his job.

Everyone uses templates or stuff from content they have seen before and there is nothing wrong with it. No damage was done to you - walk out with pride and chin-up. The management apologized to you on his behalf (and he did too).

As for that guy, he showed his character and that he has no better things to do in life - he has to work there with that embarrassment for the rest of his career!

with that said, I believe its unprofessional for your colleague to respond to everyone in the company. He will have to stay in the company with that black mark or there may be some desciplinary action against him so "chattam thana pani tanu chesukupotundi"

 

Your mistakes:

1) Plagiarism, although not a big deal in this scenario

2) dont use "To", "Cc"  while sending to the whole company or at a larger scale. only your email should be on the"To" list.  Always Bcc everyone just so that no one can reply all.

Just remember - damages done at a workplace are PERMANENT - because it is not a family. Some managers may say, “We are like a family” - that’s the biggest BS there is!

In a family scenario, if we make any mistake (hit, cheat, lie), your family will forgive you and take you back into their fold.

But at the end of the day, a workplace is a hostile environment - like a prison where everyone is just trying to get out and retire early or be their own boss instead of working for a few bucks and making some company rich. If you make a mistake (eg: lying, being rude), they will remember it forever no matter what good deeds you do later on. For the same reason, people don’t give professional references for bad behavior because their job is more important to them than anything else. People will just do their “job” - not any favors.

first point in the rule book, never copy anything from internet and use those exact words in the phase, at least change the paragraph in entirety

its a good lesson for you never to do this again, always use a template to extract thoughts not words

everyone wants a readymade solution and no one has the time to do it themselves
