It is a common practice in rural areas to show a biggie 8 times a day on the day of its release. That means on a single day a big budget film will be screened for 8 shows.

But people in Tirupati won’t be getting this privilege for Magadheera. With Congress party workers complained about 8 shows practice, local RDO issued orders to the theatre owners not to show the film more than stipulated 4 shows per day.

The issue has become a political controversy. Congress party members have lodged complaint that running 8 shows would create law and order problems. Hence the RDO passed the new orders.
