అమరావతిలో టీడీపీ అధినేత చంద్రబాబు నివాసంపై డ్రోన్ ఎగరడం కలకలం రేపిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. చంద్రబాబును చంపేందుకు వైసీపీ యత్నిస్తోందంటూ టీడీపీ నేతలు తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు కూడా చేశారు. ఈ వివాదంపై ఏపీ డీజీపీ గౌతమ్ సవాంగ్ స్పందించారు. వరదలను అంచనా వేసేందుకు ఇరిగేషన్ శాఖ డ్రోన్ ఉపయోగించిందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. అయితే, స్థానిక పోలీసులకు సమాచారం లేకపోవడంతో కమ్యూనికేషన్ గ్యాప్ వచ్చిందని చెప్పారు. అధికారులు, పోలీసుల మధ్య సమన్యయం లేకే ఈ వివాదం నెలకొందని తెలిపారు. ఈ అంశాన్ని రాజకీయం చేయవద్దని కోరారు. ఇకపై ఎవరైనా డ్రోన్ ఉపయోగించాలంటే పోలీసుల అనుమతి తప్పనిసరని చెప్పారు.
