yes if the I140 is still active with them you can go back and continue in same role. I don't see a problem with that. If your pd becomes current you can join back your old employer if 140 is active with them and then ask them to provide supporting documentation for filing 485

After 6 months they can withdraw but still PD and 140 is valid, you can transfer to diff employer and you can use h4 ead
