acuman Posted August 21, 2019 Report Posted August 21, 2019 *Please forward this question to each and every H-1B who been waiting for Green Card with priority dates beyond August-2009 in EB2&EB3* *FACT:* How can you guys think you would get GC in next bulletin or soon, when a i485-EAD with a priority date Aug-2009 been waiting for Green Card more than 10+ years? An H-1B who is not able to understand this fact here’s an explanation. There are three stages in GC process. 1) perm labor process 2) i140 process 3)i485 EAD/Adjustment of status approval(AOS) to get Green Card. There are thousands of High Skilled Immigrants in India EB2&EB3 line with priority dates before Aug-2009 been waiting for Green Card against yearly 7% quota(EB2=2,800 & EB3=2,800) after I-485 approval. These people been waiting for Green Card for 10+ years. Still their Green Craf visa number is not available because limited 7% country quota. *How come those with priority dates beyond Aug-2009 assumes their Green Card is just bulletin away or 10 years wait gives Green Card without any change in GC allocation?* *EB2&EB3 India GC awareness question of the day.* If someone with PD in August-2009 & with 485 EAD is not getting GC even after having 485-EAD for 10+ years, how can those with priority dates later Aug-2009 and barely applying/starting their perm&GC process in 2019 and assuming their GC date lag is just 10 years as current PD date is in 2009?How come their false assumption is true without any changes in GC allocation system?😇😳 Source: GC priority date movement https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin.html Quote
