విజయవాడ సబ్‌కలెక్టరేట్‌, న్యూస్‌టుడే : ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజి 68వ కానాలో చిక్కిన పడవను వెలికితీసే పనులు ఇంకా కొలిక్కి రాలేదు. శనివారం ఇనుప మోకు (తాడు) వేసి లాగినా ఫలించలేదు. 25 టన్నుల బరువు ఉన్న ఖాళీ పడవ, కానాలో ఇరుక్కు పోయింది. నీటి ఉద్ధృతి ఉండటంతో 250 టన్నులకు పైగా శక్తిగా మారినట్టు నీటిపారుదల శాఖ అధికారులు చెబుతున్నారు. కాకినాడకు చెందిన రాజు బృందం 100 టన్నుల బరువులను లాగగలిగే నాలుగు పేటల ఇనుప మోకుతో ప్రయత్నం చేయగా.. అది తెగిపోయింది. సాయంత్రం మరో బృందం వేరే కోణంలో ప్రయత్నాలు చేయగా.. సాధ్యం కాలేదు. మోకు సామర్థ్యాన్ని పెంచి మరోసారి లాగే ప్రయత్నం చేయాలనే యోచనలో అధికారులు ఉన్నారు.

4 వేల క్యూసెక్కులు సముద్రం పాలు : బ్యారేజి కానాలో పడవ చిక్కుకోవడం వల్ల 3 నుంచి 4 వేల క్యూసెక్కుల నీరు దిగువకు (సముద్రంలోకి) పోతోంది. 68వ కానా వద్ద ఒత్తిడి తగ్గించేందుకు, మిగతా కానాల నుంచి దిగువకు నీరు విడుదల చేశారు. శనివారం 11.8 అడుగుల నీటి మట్టం ఉండగా, కాల్వలకు 16,800 క్యూసెక్కులు ఇస్తున్నారు. ఎగువ నుంచి 17 వేల క్యూసెక్కుల నీరు వస్తోంది. పనులను రాష్ట్ర జలవనరుల శాఖ మంత్రి అనిల్‌కుమార్‌, కలెక్టరు ఇంతియాజ్‌, ఈఎన్‌సీ ఎం.వెంకటేశ్వరరావు, సీఈ సతీష్‌కుమార్‌, ఎస్‌ఈ చౌదరి తదితరులు పరిశీలించారు. యుద్ధప్రాతిపదికన తొలగించాలని మంత్రి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. సముద్రంలో మునిగిన వాటిని పైకి తీయగల సామర్థ్యం ఉన్న కాకినాడకు చెందిన రాజు బృందంతోపాటు బళ్లారి, భైరవవానితిప్ప, పోలవరం, పులిచింతలకు చెందిన నిపుణులతో తొలగింపు పనులు చేయిస్తున్నట్లు వివరించారు.
