విజయవాడ: ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజీ గేటు వద్ద చిక్కుకున్న పడవను బయటకు తీసేందుకు నిపుణుల బృందం ప్రయత్నాలు ఫలించాయి. గత ఐదు రోజులుగా శ్రమించిన నిపుణుల బృందం ఎట్టకేలకు పడవను గేటు నుంచి తొలగించింది. పడవకు రంద్రాలు చేసి ఇనుపతాడు సాయంతో బయటకు తీశారు. దీనికోసం కాకినాడ, బళ్లారి, పులిచింతల, బైరవానితిప్ప నిపుణుల బృందాలు ఇందులో పాల్గొన్నాయి. కృష్ణానది వరద సమయంలో ప్రకాశం బ్యారేజీ గేటు వద్ద పడవ చిక్కుకున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. వరద ఉద్ధృతి తగ్గిన తర్వాత అన్ని గేట్లను మూసివేసినప్పటికీ పడవ అడ్డుగా ఉండటంతో సదరు గేటు మూసివేత కుదరలేదు. ఫలితంగా పెద్ద మొత్తంలో నీరు వృథాగా కిందికి పోయింది. గత కొన్ని రోజులుగా ఆ పడవను తొలగించేందుకు అధికారులు చేసిన ప్రయత్నాలు ఫలించలేదు. తాజగా పడవను అక్కడి నుంచి తొలగించడంతో గేటు మూసేందుకు అధికారులు సిద్ధమవుతున్నారు.
