what if all the planets are not in spear shape but like a line..we would have noticed nothing called day or night  ...so Time is an illusion ..and its been invented for our needs.

Even for the movie Interstaller, Kip Thorne (theoritical physists) is scientific consultant (also executive producer). He was a Nobel winner in Physics and published some papers during the movie. You could see in that movie.

They have been theories in the past when the tangible evidence was not found. But we do have clear evidence which we are using in our every day life. General Relativity predicted too many things. Some of them came true. We are yet to find evidence for many others. Being theorem is not a bad thing -  a mathematical statement that is proved using rigorous mathematical reasoning.

Hopefully, we will see more proofs.

if time is illusion, why doesn't this guy (say, X) jump in front of a train? Later, we all can say that X committed suicide yesterday. Oh, "yesterday" is illusion!! So, he must be alive "today". Is "today" an illusion too? There are lots of swamis sell this kind of crap in India in the name of Advaita today: that the world is illusion (maaya), and other nonsense.

Still it (that dream) is an appearance. If you see it as real, suffering ends. Here is an analogous example: we all know formulas like E=mc^2, and even do some problems. That doesn't give us knowledge. "I feel that life is a dream" is like "E=mc^2"---a true statement, but not knowledge.

Time factor anedi only material world lo untundi . TIme doesn't exists in the spiritual world. Time is GOD and you see him when you are about to die.
