Austin is younger crowd. If you have prospects in your field and got a job with good company, go with it. I lived in Austin and lived it. Bay Area lo quality of life nachaledu. Also, it is California - fake liberalism.

Pick austin, no sales tax.. Buy a beautiful home. 

Dont pick Bay area. High rents. Worst trafic. min 1M pettandhe oka decent home kooda radu.

also check layoffs happened in those companies previously.
