Visa stamping in Germany

Hi,

  I got my 3rd h1 extension in last October and is not stamped yet. I have to go to Berlin for a week on work.  I am wondering if I can get my h1  stamped in Berlin. Please share your experiences or recommendations with visa stamping in Germany or Europe in general.

Not yet. But I am going to get schengen visa.

i believe you cant get the schengen visa unless you have 6 months left on your current US visa..

Agreed. You have to have valid status in the country that you are applying from.

my visa stamping got expired few months back but my new I 797 is valid till OCT 2022. Do you think I can get Schengen visa with H1 approved letter or should I have valid stamping?
