Florida declares a state of emergency to prepare for Hurricane Dorian

After US officials confirmed that Tropical Storm Dorian strengthened into a hurricane in the US Virgin Islands on Wednesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis declared a state of emergency to ensure Florida’s residents and authorities are fully prepared. The National Hurricane Centre says the risk of a dangerous storm surge and hurricane-force winds along Florida’s east coast later this week continues to increase.

hopefully.. just getting prepared for the inconveniences post storm.. gas/water/power etc... panic buying has already started.. causing shortage of bottled water...
