Appellate tribunal gives clarity on Andhra Pradesh PPA - Tv9

The clarity on the issue of the Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) pertaining to AP state has come out. The appellate tribunal has made its stand clear in the line of the centre. The tribunal has directed the state government not to cancel the proposal on the solar and wind power that took place during Chandrababu Naidu led the TDP government. The Tribunal has given the verdict after the three companies moved to the court after the cancellation of PPAs. 

Centre has recently written to the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government not to consider reopening of Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) of renewable energy projects set up in the State. The Centre in the letter stated that the proposed moves by the new YSRCP Government would affect the investor sentiment in the country's renewable energy sector.
