How good are you technically??
I would suggest you to branch off and become  a Sr developer or a Devops person slowly

you might find FT opportunities for automation kaani edugudala undadhu QM  side.

how much you can make automation testing varies largely on technical skills 

you can make any where from 120K to 350K (SF bay area only)

I have good friend joined as Sr SDET  this week on H1 TC: 300K

I would suggest move away from testing (automation also) get into some development if ur early stage of ur carrer

data engineer is diff from data science, so if you venture into the data science side , salary gettiga adagochu  close to 140k

good in west coast ask for nothing less than 180k 

east coast 140k  min 

 i havent moved out of seattle metro area in 10 yrs so i dont know other areas salary ranges
