Crash landing vs Soft landing make a ton of different for ISRO for making future moves. 

BTW no one has landed at the poles, if India wanted to go the easy route they wouldn't have more chosen to land there.

ISRO has to update their mission status.........if the lander didnt crash land its huge wins for ISRO, doesnt matter if it can communicate back or not. It this point of time, first attempt lo not crashing landing speaks how much ISRO is capable of doing
