If I understand correctly water has been lifted and stored in main reservoirs. Doubt vunte 100's of videos vunnayee YouTube lo to check. But supporting canals which give water to farms work complete ayyindo ledo not sure. 

Regardless. Storing water in reservoirs and routing to cheruvulu it self will improve ground water levels.

There are lot of canal construction happening on ground - its just not in PPTs 

Try to visit TG villages, and you will see what kind of canal construction, pond integration is happening
