Hyderabad college that asked girls to wear long kurtis withdraws dress code

Hyderabad’s St Francis College for Women which made it mandatory for girls to wear long kurtis has withdrawn the dress code. This comes after students protested against the dress code and had alleged moral policing by the college authorities since August. A student earlier claimed that college authorities told them that a long kurti would get them good marriage proposals.
