travelled in both. 

recent ga cathay try chesa.. better experience than emirates.

2014 lo kooda try chesa cathay.. way much improvement in 2018.

I would rate Cathay better than Emirates...

For cabin class, I don’t see much difference except premium economy options on US-HKG segment.

If you are flying from west coast to India, journey breaks between almost half way so less tiring...unlike 12-13 hour flight to Dubai
