Greenville is very cool definitely take up the offer. 

Low cost of living plus beautiful nature around. Lots of hiking trails etc

is it Greer you said?? naa college friend okadu untadu, in Spartanburg..Greer is not far from Greenville it seems..akkada manollu untaru but not a big crowd..SC lo columbia has probably more indians..greenville and spartanburg lo scattered ga untaru annadu friend..woodland village or five forks side chudu
