Is it really true that there are power cuts in AP ? 

Power rates have come down drastically in the last one month and there is no issue with power generation as well as consumption and distribution, even purchase from the grid is also no issue right now ...

In spite of these things, if there are still power cuts, then the reason must be something else..

solar power  & wind production nunchi ap govt is not buying due excess charge in PPA agreement(ap govt's argument), currently court lo case nadusthundhi  although production is there.  regarding power cuts first hand experience tho chepthunna last 15 days nunchi power edhoka time lo pothundhi atleast 2 hrs in my area west godavari.
