జాతిపిత మహాత్మాగాంధీ 150వ జయంతి వేడుకల్లో ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ పాల్గొన్నారు. గుజరాత్ లోని అహ్మదాబాద్ సబర్మతి ఆశ్రమంలో గాంధీకి ఘననివాళి అర్పించిన మోదీ ఈ సందర్భంగా రూ.150 నాణేన్ని విడుదల చేశారు. అనంతరం ఆశ్రమంలోని సందర్శకుల పుస్తకంలో తన సందేశం రాశారు. గాంధీ కలలు కన్న స్వచ్ఛ భారత్ స్వప్నాన్ని సాకారం చేస్తున్నామని, ప్రపంచమంతా గాంధీ జయంతి వేడుకలు జరుపుకుంటోందని తెలిపారు. గాంధీ జయంతి సందర్భంగా ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి పోస్టల్ స్టాంప్ విడుదల చేసిందని వెల్లడించారు.

పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణ, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ అంటే గాంధీజీకి ఎంతో ఇష్టమైన వ్యాపకాలు అని వెల్లడించారు. భారత్ బహిరంగ మలవిసర్జన దేశంగా మారనందుకు సంతోషంగా ఉందని తెలిపారు. గ్రామాలు బహిరంగ మలవిసర్జన రహిత ప్రాంతాలుగా ప్రకటించుకున్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. 60 నెలల్లో 60 కోట్ల మందికి శౌచాలయాలు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకువచ్చామని మోదీ వివరించారు. ఈ క్రమంలో 11 కోట్లకు పైగా శౌచాలయాలు నిర్మిస్తున్నామని వెల్లడించారు. ఇంత భారీగా శౌచాలయాల నిర్మాణంతో ప్రపంచదేశాలు అబ్బురపడ్డాయని, మనల్ని ప్రశంసిస్తున్నాయని తెలిపారు.  

ఇప్పుడు ప్లాస్టిక్ కారణంగా పర్యావరణానికి ముప్పు పొంచి ఉందని, సింగిల్ యూజ్ ప్లాస్టిక్ ను దేశంలో లేకుండా చేద్దామని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. ఈ లక్ష్యాన్ని 2022 నాటికి సాధించే దిశగా కృషి చేద్దాం అని పేర్కొన్నారు.

It is just special occasion coin. Not for public use. 500 1000 rupees coins kooda release ayyayi past lo.
