Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Monday that he was giving up his effort to form a new coalition government, sending his mandate back to President Reuven Rivlin. Rivlin has pegged Blue and White party leader Benny Gantz to take on the task next, giving him 28 days to complete it.
