100 Cr For Huzurnagar, No Money For RTC?: HC counter to KCR

For a shocking and unexpected question from the High Court to Telangana state government over RTC strike, the Advocate General appointed by Telangana state government caught off guard as he couldn't reply to the court. The HC has questioned how the government made promises of Rs 100 crore to Huzurnagar constituency whereas on the other hand it doesn't have Rs 47 crore to pay to RTC employees to meet their demands. The HC said why the government isn't bothered about the poor people who are facing great difficulty with RTC strike.

The High Court went onto question the government on extending the holidays of schools owing to RTC strike. It questioned why the government extended the holidays of schools. The HC has asked the government to submit its complete details of the debts of RTC and turned serious on the higher officials for "incomplete" information. The HC asked the government to submit the details of the total buses that are running now. The HC ordered the Incharge MD of RTC to attend the court on Nov 1st with complete details and posted the case hearing to Friday.

High Court questioned the government over the delay in the bifurcation and the AG BS Prasad informed the court that the matter is with the Centre. He said that RTC owes reimbursements of 1099 Crore of which Telangana has to bear 42 percent and AP has to bear 58 percent. AG BS Prasad conveyed to the HC that the government has issued Rs 4235 crore. Reacting to this, the court asked the RTC management to provide the complete details without hiding crucial information. The HC expressed its dissatisfaction over the incomplete details and asked them to come up with proper information for the next hearing.

Interestingly, the High Court stated that it cannot order the protesting RTC employees to stop their strike. In addition to this, the HC has also given permission to peaceful domestic protest of 'Sakala Janula Samara Bheri' to be held tomorrow (Oct 30).

I used to track state budgets as past time before . Langa budget was always full of holes . Estimates and actual used to differ by vast percentage. On other hand it used to be really small in ramakrishnidi budgets in AP. But people don’t like such things they get bored . But langa propoganda and trolling is more fun.
