వెలుగు జిలుగుల పండుగ దీపావళి సందర్భంగా అగ్రరాజ్యం అమెరికాలో మనవాళ్లు చేసిన చర్య...సోషల్ మీడియాలో వైరల్ అయిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. దీపావళి సందర్భంగా న్యూజెర్సీలోని ఇండియా స్క్వేర్ దగ్గర భారీగా జనాలు చేరి ధూంధాంగా టపాసులు కాల్చి ఎంజాయ్ చేశారు. కానీ క్రాకర్స్ కాల్చాక ఆ చెత్తనంతా ఎక్కడిదక్కడే వదిలేసి వెళ్లిపోయారు. దీంతో వీధుల్లో ఖాళీ క్రాకర్స్ బాక్సులు - పేల్చాక ఎగిరిపడిన చెత్త అంతా పడిపోయింది. ఆ చెత్తను న్యూజెర్సీ పోలీసులు శుభ్రం చేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. వాళ్లు వాటర్ కెనాల్స్ తో రోడ్లు క్లీన్ చేసిన వీడియోను ఓ భారతీయురాలు పోస్ట్ చేయగా...ఇప్పుడు సోషల్ మీడియాలో విపరీతంగా వైరల్ అవుతోంది. దీనిపై తోటి ఇండియన్సే మనవాళ్లను విమర్శిస్తున్నారు. అయితే ఈ విషయంలో మరో కోణాన్ని సైతం పలువురు ప్రస్తావిస్తున్నారు.

 

భారతీయురాలినని చెప్పుకోడానికి సిగ్గుపడుతున్నానంటూ  సంధ్య అనే యువతి ట్విటర్ లో షేర్ చేసింది. దీనిపై పలువురు నెటిజన్లు స్పందిస్తూ...పండుగ చేసుకుని చెత్త ఇలా వదిలేసి పోవడం షేమ్ అంటూ కామెంట్లు పెడుతున్నారు. మన వాళ్లందరికీ  శుభ్రత మీద క్లాసులు తీసుకోవాలంటూ మరికొందరు ట్విట్లు చేశారు. తాను యూకేలోనూ ఇలాంటి ఘటనలు చూశానని - స్వచ్ఛతపై పట్టకుండా వ్యవహరించడం దారుణమని మరో నెటిజన్ ట్వీట్ చేశారు. అయితే దీనిపై మరికొందరు ఇంకో వాదన వినిపిస్తున్నారు. విదేశాల్లో మన పండుగల నిర్వహణ పట్ల మనకు ఖచ్చితంగా అవగాహన ఉండాల్సిందే. అన్నింటికంటే ముఖ్యంగా...స్థానిక పరిస్థితులు - పర్యావరణం దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకోవాలి. స్థానికులకు ఇబ్బంది కలిగించేలా వ్యవహరించడం ఏమాత్రం సబబు కాదు. అదే సమయంలో..పండుగ ద్వారా శబ్ధ వాయు కాలుష్యం - అక్కడి వాతావరణాన్ని దరిద్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దడం కూడా సరికాదు.

but it would be nice for our people to follow the japanese and clean up after the event, atleast some of it

This was done with permission and the street was later cleaned with the help of fire trucks. 
People should get a life.
