Plea dismissed, Jagan to appear in CBI court in DA case

Hyderabad, Nov 1 (IANS) In a setback to Andhra Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Special CBI Court here on Friday dismissed his petition for exemption from personal appearance before the court during the hearings of the alleged illegal assets case.

The court, which had reserved its order on his petition on October 18, pronounced it on Friday.

Jagan had sought the exemption from personal appearance in the court on the ground that he is holding a constitutional post and needs to attend several important programmes.

However, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had opposed the Chief Minister''s plea, saying there is a change only in personal capacity of the petitioner and not in the circumstances of the case.

సీబీఐ కోర్టులో జగన్ కు చుక్కెదురు.. వ్యక్తిగత హాజరు నుంచి మినహాయింపు కుదరదన్న న్యాయస్థానం!

 

• కోర్టు విచారణకు హాజరవడంపై మినహాయింపును ఇవ్వాలంటూ జగన్ పిటిషన్

ఏపీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి జగన్ కు హైదరాబాదులోని సీబీఐ కోర్టు షాకిచ్చింది. అక్రమాస్తుల కేసులో కోర్టు విచారణకు హాజరవడంపై మినహాయింపును ఇవ్వాలంటూ ఆయన పెట్టుకున్న పిటిషన్ ను విచారించిన కోర్టు ఈరోజు తీర్పును వెలువరించింది. మినహాయింపు పిటిషన్ ను కొట్టివేస్తున్నట్టు తెలిపింది. కోర్టు విచారణకు హాజరుకావాల్సిందేనంటూ ఆదేశించింది.

ప్రస్తుతం తాను ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా ఉన్నానని ... ఒక రోజు కోర్టుకు వస్తే తన ప్రొటోకాల్, సెక్యూరిటీ కోసం రూ. 60 లక్షలు ఖర్చవుతుందని... రాష్ట్ర ఆర్థిక పరిస్థితి బాగోలేదని, దీంతో పెద్ద ఎత్తున ప్రజాధనం ఖర్చవుతుందని పిటిషన్ లో జగన్ పేర్కొన్నారు. దీనికి తోడు, ముఖ్యమంత్రిగా అధికారిక విధులు నిర్వహించాల్సి ఉన్న నేపథ్యంలో ప్రతి శుక్రవారం కోర్టుకు హాజరు కావడం ఇబ్బందని తెలిపారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో, కోర్టు విచారణకు తన బదులు తన న్యాయవాది అశోక్ రెడ్డి హాజరవుతారని, వ్యక్తిగత హాజరు నుంచి తనను మినహాయించాలని కోర్టును కోరారు.

అయితే, గతంలో ఎంపీగా ఉన్నప్పుడే సాక్షులను జగన్ ప్రభావితం చేశారని, ఇప్పుడు ముఖ్యమంత్రి హోదాలో ఉన్న ఆయన సాక్షులను మరింత ప్రభావితం చేసే అవకాశం ఉందని సీబీఐ వాదించింది. అధికారులంతా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాటను వినాల్సి ఉంటుందని, ఆయనకు వ్యక్తిగత మినహాయింపును ఇస్తే తప్పుడు సంకేతాలు వెళ్తాయని తెలిపింది. సీబీఐ వాదనతో ఏకీభవించిన కోర్టు... జగన్ కు వ్యక్తిగత మినహాయింపును ఇవ్వలేమని తెలిపింది. కోర్టు విచారణకు వ్యక్తిగతంగా హాజరుకావాల్సిందేనని ఆదేశించింది.

మరోవైపు, ఈ కేసులో నిందితులుగా ఉన్న వైసీపీ ఎంపీ విజయసాయిరెడ్డి, ఐఏఎస్ అధికారిణి శ్రీలక్ష్మి, రాజగోపాల్ ఈరోజు సీబీఐ కోర్టుకు హాజరయ్యారు.

According to some rules... no use of going to High Court once CBI courts says No ...One of the above videos lo mention chesadu...

Aina past lo High Court said NO kada.... Malli High Court enduku ...
