This duo town has some of the oldest colleges like 

Agricultural University, bapatla engineering college( one of the oldest private engineering colleges in Andhra + Telangana)

 

Chirala - vrs yrn education society ( one of the oldest well eqstablished arts college) and two other engineering colleges..pharma colleges ..

Still the duo towns hasn't seen the development , it still looks like 70s , while many politicians, actors including chiru , venkatesh , Rana studied here...came from here...

 

Why ?

reserved chesi dobaru... adi main reason..

chutu full fertile lands... so land is limited... chala varaku gov land undi.. which is in control of main leaders.. like mupplaeni.. uma reddy venkenteswarlu.. kona.. etc.. all big wings share chesukunaru assigned lands... 

ee mandhya ne koncham outer ringroad and roads expansion jarugutunai... companies levu... avi vaste growth bagane untadi..

coming to chirala... labour ekuva.. and they are not limited to one side.. they are on all sides ... growth ki scope lekunda chesaru...  ee madhya tourism bagane undi for beach and resorts... we can expect more growth moving forward..

I heard that in AG college there in bapatla they do lot of research on cereals
