Don't rely on credit cards ,,rather add car rental Inusrance on your regular insurance.

 

Credit car companies give away any claim from opposite party and charge interest on top of it.

Chase Sapphire cards will also offer primary collision coverage , I'm don't think any of these Chase or Amex cards offer liability coverage though , check it once

You can also call up your insurance provider and ask about liability coverage for rental vehicles

or you can probably decline the collision coverage and just opt for liability
