Hi All,

I got a side project and the client wants to pay me via 1099.  I have a EAD (GC) and like to know how to accept the payments.  could someone kindly help me on how to proceed.

How much on 1099?

Direct account loki transfer chesko from client or vendor.

You pay self employment tax but for $24000 per year it is very less after subtracting the expenses. 

Expenses like house rent, phone , internet bills, flight tickets etc etc
