SC verdict on Sabarimala

According to experts, the Supreme Court's ruling in the Ayodhya land dispute is likely to have a bearing on the judgement in the Sabarimala case since both cases are based on an interpretation of beliefs and faiths.

Article 25 says "all persons are equally entitled to freedom of conscience and the right to freely profess, practice, and propagate religion subject to public order, morality and health."

Freedom to manage religious affairs (Article 26) Article 26 reads as follows,

Subject to public order, morality and health, every religious denomination or any section thereof shall have the right—

1. to establish and maintain institutions for religious and charitable purposes;
2. to manage its own affairs in matters of religion;
3. to own and acquire movable and immovable property; and
4. to administer such property in accordance with

Thus, Article 26 confers upon the religious groups the freedom to manage religious affairs, as said in the above clauses. The right guaranteed by Article 25 is an individual right while the right guaranteed by Article 26 is the right of an “organised body” like the religious denomination or any section thereof. The right to administer property owned by a religious denomination is a limited right, and it is subject to the regulatory power of the State

I think the religious trusts will have more power and authority...

Sabarimala judgement will act as an example for other religious trusts to exercise their rights and implement their own decisions without interference to civil laws...

It already very complicated...for example, TTD as a religious body can take decisions and implement things to protect the culture and sanctity of the religious shrine but appinting employyes etc has to happen without discrimination and can appoint non-hindus to administrative positions. TTD body ki rights isthe they can implement as per religion requirements ...

I think, Supreme Court will still up hold the earlier decision to allow women inside the temple and may invoke Art 26 to grant freedom to maintain religious affairs...from temple trust nundi government appointed board ki change chestara...leka petition quash chesi previous verdict ni imolement cheyamni order istara chudali...

Interesting ...This one verdict will change the religious affair for ever in India...either for good or bad..!!!

Yeah it's like forcefully making the temple to change their faith or forget the faith and allow the women inside the temple
