Yes you can go but return not guaranteed can be 2 or 3 years only thing is you no need to apply through lottery, 

If you have employer who is sponsoring visa you are good to come.

idi actually correct...always remember that once you go back to India coming back to USA are very bleak....unless you work some top notch company and not WITCH /body shop etc
