Heard with e-visa kid can stay more than 6 months even without OCI by getting some permissions - Not sure how true it is and if anyone has done it.. Quote

Under 15 varaku you can stay in India beyond 180days and nobody gives a about it. Local PS headquarters lo report cheyyali ani rule undi but PS people will laugh and say @aathcare if you go for a no objection certificate Quote
