హైదరాబాద్: ఆర్టీసీ రూట్ల ప్రైవేటీకరణకు హైకోర్టు గ్రీన్‌సిగ్నల్‌ ఇచ్చింది. ప్రైవేటీకరణపై దాఖలైన రిట్‌ పిటిషన్‌ను న్యాయస్థానం కొట్టేసింది. దీంతో ప్రభుత్వ విధానాలకు లైన్‌క్లీయర్ అయింది. గతంలో ప్రభుత్వ నిర్ణయాలను తప్పుపట్టిన కోర్టు.. ఇవాళ వాదప్రతివాదనలు విన్న తర్వాత ఈ సంచలన నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. 5100 బస్సుల ప్రైవేటీకరణపై ఏజీ వాదనలు వినిపించారు. ప్రభుత్వ వాదనలతో ధర్మాసనం ఏకీభవించింది. కేబినెట్‌ నిర్ణయంలో జోక్యం చేసుకోలేమంటూ న్యాయస్థానం తేల్చిచెప్పింది. మోటార్‌ వెహికల్‌ యాక్ట్‌ 102 ప్రకారం.. ప్రభుత్వానికి విశేష అధికారాలున్నాయని కోర్టు వ్యాఖ్యానించింది. ప్రభుత్వ పాలసీ విధానాలలో పిటిషనర్ల జోక్యం తగదని ఏజీ స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా గతంలో సుప్రీంకోర్టు ఇచ్చిన పలు తీర్పులను ఏజీ ప్రస్తావించారు. హైకోర్టు తీర్పుపై సుప్రీంకోర్టులో అప్పీల్‌ చేస్తామని పిటిషనర్‌ తరపు లాయర్‌ పేర్కొన్నారు.

 

ఆర్టీసీ ప్రైవేటీకరణకు హైకోర్టు గ్రీన్‌సిగ్నల్‌ ఇచ్చిన నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఏ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటుందన్న ఉత్కంఠ నెలకొంది. నిన్న ఆర్టీసీపై సీఎం కేసీఆర్ సమీక్ష నిర్వహించినా.. శుక్రవారం తీర్పు నేపథ్యంలో ఆయన ఏ నిర్ణయం తీసుకోలేదు. తాజాగా ఆర్టీసీపై కేబినెట్ నిర్ణయాన్ని సమర్థిస్తూ న్యాయస్థానం సానుకూల తీర్పునిచ్చిన తరుణంలో ప్రభుత్వం ఏ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటోందనన్న ఆసక్తి నెలకొంది. దాదాపు రెండు నెలలుగా ఆందోళన చేస్తున్న ఆర్టీసీ కార్మికుల భవిష్యత్ అగమ్యగోచరంగా మారింది. ఓ వైపు ఆందోళనలను విరమించి తిరిగి ఉద్యోగాల్లో చేరతామని ముందుకొచ్చినా.. డిపోల దగ్గరకు కూడా రానివ్వడం లేదు. కార్మికులను తిరిగి చేర్చుకుంటారా? లేక షరతులు విధిస్తారా? అన్న దానిపై వేచిచూడాలి.

Its not really about the economy.

 

Its all about how to manipulate people emotions before elections. KCR is pretty good at it and so I am sure he can manage to win again and again.

everything is about the economy. you can manipulate lower class people before the elections, but if upper middle class people feel the heat of the economy, they will turn against you, and there's nothing you can do.

KCR winning again and again is solely dependent on his good relations with teh center to provide him funds to keep the upper class in check. when he gets too arrogant for the center, his life will get fcuked progressively.

Indian upper caste people are aath care about economy. Many are already well off thanks to usa etc and are already highly urbanized. Even in rural areas they tend to be well off farmers. They care about caste ego more than any economy.

Yes and think about this if indian oc indeed cared about economy don’t you think they would have created atleast a few world class companies ?especially considering how much wealth they have and acces they have to West and USA ?There is none that competed in international scale.

caste teaches them to be leeches and exploit the labor of the poor.they now do that through policies. It is caste that helps their prosperity and therefore they will go to any extent including living in a third world third rate economy as long as it gives them a leg up on others.

but there will come a time when they will feel the pinch too. like in 1991. until then, people were happy to play along with draconian license regime, because their neighbour is not going to set up a factory and become rich, while he still slaves away in a dead end govt job.

but once they realised that its not sustainable, they quickly supported whatever little reforms pvnr did. So eventually they need a period of growth, so they consolidate through leaders like KCR later.
