H-1B issues make Japan the new job destination for Indian techies

Is it true ?

The H-1B visa woes have forced Indians to look at alternate options. To no one’s surprise, Japan has emerged as an attractive option for Indian techies seeking jobs abroad.

For skilled Indian techies, US has been a default choice for job; however, the uncertain work environment in the US has forced techies to look at alternatives. Despite the language barrier, Indian techies are preferring Japan for work. Good life, pay packages, and safe environment is what draws foreign skilled workers to choose Japan for work.

Several Indian IT companies including Infosys, TCS, and Wipro have their presence in Japan. And recently, the IT industry body in India, Nasscom has joined hands with the government of Hiroshima to co-invest in creating India-Japan IT Corridor. Approx. 10,000 Indian techies are estimated to be working in Japan
