Officer fires at student in a Wisconsin high school after the student pointed a gun at him

A 17-year-old Waukesha South High student is recovering in the hospital after being shot by the school's student resource officer. After reports that the student had a gun, the officer confronted him in a classroom where the gun was drawn. The officer responded by firing his weapon and striking the student.
