His stories are totally spiritual. He called himself guru. Guru pooja is celebrated at large scale in shiridi and other temples.

Sai baba vanished problems ayite daniki god avvala?  He called himself guru and not god. 

Chaganti also told this and people were insane enough to not understand intent and fired on him,
