A company is a profit oriented business. What did you think when you took off without notice which is just a matter of email/text? If you own a business and hire workers to help you and you depend on them to get work done and they take off without notice irresponsibly causing you revenue losses, what would you do? Quote

It’s purpose is to help the worker/client find next job/resource without much inconvenience. Many states have “work at Will” which means we can quit at any time without notice.
